The Guard Tour Assurance Program, pronounced “Gee Tap” was developed by Trident Security Services’ staff using recently available, state of the art technology. This is our premier service for any company looking for 100 percent accountability and consistent reliability from a contract security guard service.
GTAP ensures that your guard can prove exactly when and specifically where and what checkpoints they inspected or function they performed at your site. With GTAP, guards can be monitored, in real time, 24 hours a day. |

With our Guard Tour Assurance Program you can be confident that our team will be tracking and analyzing your guard’s movements, as well as providing you daily with professional reports.
Each guard carries a touch pen and uses it each time they walk by a checkpoint or perform a required function. As each contact is made, the date, time and checkpoint or function information is recorded into the touch pen.
Upon completion of each tour the information stored in the touch pen (which can hold 11,000 transactions) is downloaded from your site to our secure server. That information is password protected and monitored by Trident Security Services’ supervisors throughout the day.

The supervisors and vehicle patrol officers are also monitored by GTAP. Trident Supervisor’s are required to conduct inspection tours of each site every night. By using GTAP supervisors record the time and date they inspected your site. Guard are inspected and supervisors report that results via GTAP. This records what site and officer they inspected and how much time was spent at your site. Each time our vehicle patrol officer inspects your site, the exact time and date and the number of "hits" are recorded and monitored daily.
All GTAP data is kept securely in a professionally staffed computer center. This ensures the integrity of the data, protects it against software or hardware failure and prevents any attempt to destroy data.
Various reports are available to you when and how you want them. Reports can be emailed, faxed or mailed to you or your staff at your convenience. Our staff reviews every GTAP report each morning to ensure compliance with your requirements and the post instructions.
The single most important result of such accurate data collection, is the ability of our staff to extrapolate a comprehensive picture of what our guards and supervisors are doing every day.
