  • Can Trident Security guards make an arrest?

    Yes. Trident Security is licensed and all guards are registered by South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) and while on the property that they are hired to protect, have the same powers of arrest as a sheriff’s deputy. In an emergency, results of a crime, or at your request, we can assert that authority.

  • Do you provide consultation services?

    Yes. We will send SLED certified experienced security professional from our staff to visit your business. Our team will develop a baseline physical security plan, make recommendation, listen to your concerns, evaluate site specific needs and design a security plan specifically tailored to your company, your budget and location.

  • Do you provide armed guard services?

    Yes. We provide both armed and unarmed services.

  • Can I contract a combination of security guard and vehicle patrol services?

    Yes. We have a number of security services that we offer.

  • Can your vehicle patrol services respond to alarm activations?

    Yes. Alarm company dispatchers notify our staff or supervisors that your alarm has been activated and a patrol officer is dispatched to the site.

  • How do you prepare the guards for an assignment?

    After a security plan is designed and approved, a comprehensive Post Instruction (PI) binder is developed and installed at your business. The Quality Director and Operations Manager provide classroom training to the guards assigned to the site. They are tested and evaluated to ensure they comprehend their new assignment. Additionally, onsite training is conducted by our staff and supervisors. During the first couple weeks of a new assignment our staff and supervisors check on the guards at your site more frequently to ensure they understand and are implementing the post instruction as directed.

  • How can I communicate emergent concerns or problems to for quick resolution?

    One phone number, Trident Security’s main number 843-767-3855 will always connect you to staff or a supervisor 24 hours a day. Additionally, all our officers are trained to contact emergency services, your staff or emergency contact (if requested) and our supervisors if a situation or problems presents itself. In an emergency, our supervisors will contact our staff to communicate your concerns and we will respond as necessary.

  • What happens if my company’s security requirements change?

    Our staff and supervisors are trained to and take pride in our ability to adapt to fluid situations quickly. We will reevaluate your situation and make the necessary changes.
